What we do
Janitorial is the core of the business. The rest is there so a building can run on one vendor.
Commercial Janitorial
Contract cleaning on a schedule built around your hours: nightly, weekly, bi-weekly or monthly. Offices, restrooms, break rooms, common areas and trash.
Floor Care
Carpet, tile and grout cleaned with hot water extraction, and hard floors buffed and waxed.
Commercial Disinfecting
High-touch surfaces and shared spaces disinfected with commercial-grade products, on a schedule or as a one-time job.
Storm Cleanup and Water Extraction
Leak detection, water extraction, drying, sanitation and rebuilding after a storm, a flood or a burst line.
Facilities Maintenance
The upkeep and repairs that keep a building running, handled by the company that already cleans it.

Local, and still family-run
Ben and Heather Peterek started Gulfside in 2002 to give businesses in their own community a commercial cleaning company they could count on. More than twenty years later it is still family-run, still based in Galveston, and cleans for more than 70 contract customers every month.
